1“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. 2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
I drove to a busy mall on Saturday for brunch and normally I would expect a lot of traffic and difficulty in finding a parking spot. I gave myself extra time as I would be thinking that I could be late due to the parking conditions. This must come to mind for some people as they line up for tickets or for a Boxing Day Sale. Due to limited supplies, they are concerned that they will miss out on getting the ticket or product.
John says that we should not let our hearts be troubled that there is no space for us or that Jesus won’t come back for us. Jesus keeps his promise and there is plenty of space for us in Heaven waiting for those who believe in God and in Jesus. There is no scarcity when it comes to God as he very rich and generous.
