“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me.2 My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. 4 You know the way to the place where I am going.”
There are certain areas of the country where the pricing of houses are going up to unaffordable levels. In other parts of the country where the job market is very weak, the pricing of housing is dropping. I live in the big city, where the pricing of housing is really not affordable at all for anybody who has come out into the workforce and only have a few years of savings to their name. It looks like it is impossible for the next generation to save enough for a home. Eventually there could be an accumulation of savings for a home, but then you need to find the right location and what about being outbid by another buyer?
Imagine being told that a home is being given to us at no cost? We don’t have to save up a lot of money for it. The cost of the heavenly home has been paid for by Jesus. He has prepared a place for us in Heaven and this is the final destiny for those who follow Jesus. There are no bidding wars or disappointment of somebody else claiming the property. Jesus has prepared many spaces and there is plenty of rooms for everybody.
