Believing The Impossible
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
The Guinness Book of Records is an organization that inspires individuals, families, schools, teams, groups and companies all over the world to do amazing feats. Some of the records are amazing individual ability and other records consist of a record number of people uniting together doing the same thing. An official from the organization needs to be present to document and witness the record to be broken. It’s not enough to say that you just broke a record as nobody would believe your claim unless it was measured and witnessed by a third party.
The message of Christ has continued on for multiple generations. As much as the message was shared verbally, there is a faith in believing the Gospel since the first generation of disciples witnessed Jesus alive after he was crucified. The Bible says that our belief is from our heart and we will never be put to shame and will be saved. Jesus did an amazing feat, rising from the dead. Nobody will ever match or beat this world record that Jesus accomplished. Jesus did the impossible and those who believe the impossible will be blessed.
